Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced AI Strategy Technical Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the practical application of AI across account operations, driving the development, adoption, and measurement of AI solutions that improve delivery quality, productivity, and client outcomes. This is a player-coach role requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on experience building, testing, and demonstrating practical AI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the account AI vision, roadmap, standards, and prioritized use-case portfolio in alignment with Turner & Townsend leadership and strategic AI objectives.
- Identify and prioritize AI use cases across design, engineering, document control, project controls, commercial management, quality, commissioning, reporting, and operations.
- Personally build and prototype AI solutions, including AI-enabled tools, source-grounded solutions, workflow automations, and API integrations.
- Develop evaluation and testing frameworks to assess accuracy, grounding, consistency, usefulness, safety, latency, and human-review requirements.
- Build dashboards and measurement systems connecting AI adoption and usage to productivity, quality, cycle time, risk, and commercial outcomes.
- Establish and maintain a governed library of AI solutions, reusable workflow components, prompts, test packs, implementation guidance, and supporting documentation.
- Lead through influence across a complex matrix organization, collaborating with functional leaders, subject-matter experts, AI champions, data owners, technical teams, and delivery teams.
- Drive adoption through demonstrations, champion networks, office hours, role-based training, and targeted change management initiatives.
- Govern account AI usage in accordance with client requirements, confidentiality obligations, access controls, data governance, and Turner & Townsend standards.
- Translate strategic AI standards and developments into practical account-level opportunities, guardrails, and implementation decisions.
- Communicate with senior account and client stakeholders regarding AI value, limitations, risks, and recommendations.
- Develop clear handoff packages for production engineering or platform teams when solutions require productionization.
- Report on AI adoption, benefits, pipeline, risks, lessons learned, and required leadership decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AI capabilities, responsible AI practices, workflow automation, data governance, and emerging AI technologies.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
