The Electrical Maintenance Engineer its responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated systems to improve production efficiency, quality and reliability. This role involve working closely with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Defines the need for spare parts and defines/verifies the lifetime of electrical components;
- Uses standard performance indicator monitoring systems and proposes solutions to improve the indicators;
- Organizes the daily intervention and maintenance plan;
- Analyzes and reports in regular meetings data about the operation of electrical equipment and installations;
- Monitors the safety systems, under the given conditions;
- Drafts the necessary reports and documentation for modifications and/or improvements to equipment and installations from an electrical point of view;
- Request price offers, technical data about equipment and installations from an electrical point of view;
- Tests, evaluates and/or modifies electrical components;
- Design, develop and implement automation solution for industrial process;
- Program and maintain PLC system (e.g., Rexroth, Siemens);
- Integrate automation equipment it to the production lines;
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation and control system issue;
- Optimize existing process to improve efficiency and reduce downtime;
- Support installation, testing and commissioning of the new equipment;
- Collaborate with production, process and quality team;
- Create and maintain technical document;
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
