We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer for Port and Terminal Infrastructure to join our organization in Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining critical IT infrastructure systems that support port and terminal operations. You will work with complex, mission-critical systems in a fast-paced environment where reliability and efficiency are paramount. - Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure systems supporting port and terminal operations, including servers, networks, and storage solutions
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency for all critical infrastructure components
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to port operations systems, including SCADA and industrial control systems
- Implement and enforce security protocols and cybersecurity measures to protect critical infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities
- Manage network architecture, including configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of networking equipment and systems
- Collaborate with terminal operations teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Conduct regular system audits and performance analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Document all infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes in a clear and organized manner
- Provide technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users on infrastructure-related matters
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and operational capabilities
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for port and terminal operations
