Job Summary:
As a Field Service Representative (FSR), you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission-critical role involves working on a variety of technologies, including catalytic oxidation, wastewater clarification, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), and filter press separation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
- Conduct critical and preventative maintenance and calibration activities on equipment
- Take samples and support the Lab FSR in performing analytical testing such as: pH, COD, DO, Ammonia, ATP, TSS, 30-min settling tests, Phosphorus, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
- Support the Lab FSR in reviewing lab data and making appropriate process changes based upon plant conditions and laboratory results
- Utilize a forklift as needed for plant operations purposes
- Monitor, adjust, and maintain chemical injection systems
- Support the maintenance team in maintaining inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, and control troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
- Create and maintain site documentation, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
- Consult with shift lead and site management
- Ensure contract compliance with volume and quality specifications
- Meet customer access requirements to sites
- Other duties as required
