As the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our design-build projects. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of managing complex design-build projects in an Owner's Representative role on a highly complex mega project program. This project has multiple locations within NYC and this requirement is for the Manhattan based site located downtown.
The Senior Program Manager will report to the project leadership team and interface with stakeholders in a task-oriented scope of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall project execution of our design-build initiatives, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budget constraints, and schedule requirements.
- Collaborate with the design-build team to develop and implement efficient project plans and strategies in task orientated approach to work.
- Oversee administrative functions including design-builder’s adherence to the design-build agreement, contract performance monitoring, review of payment requisitions, and maintenance of project schedules and budget projections.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate project records and documentation using task oriented style.
- Review design-builder change orders, while maintaining budget integrity and producing accurate financial reports.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships by offering consistent updates.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety across all project sites and operations.
- Provide on-site leadership and guidance to the project team in the challenging construction environment of New York City that aligns to task orientated approach to work.
- Travel within the 4 boroughs of NYC; Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn.
