AbbVie is looking for an experienced Medical Affairs professional who will be responsible for our dermatology portfolio in Sweden. This is an opportunity to join a truly collaborative and welcoming Scandinavian Medical Affairs organization where you will represent the affiliate’s medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned product(s) within the dermatology therapeutic area. Your position will comprise approximately 50% infield and 50% office-based focus.
As Medical Advisor your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Be the medical/scientific expert in the cross-functional Brand Team and In-Field Team and provide medical/scientific input to strategies. This can also include cross-functional initiatives.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with experts and academic centers; attend scientific congresses, arrange advisory groups, discussion forums and symposia.
- Deliver scientific presentations and facilitate medical education to health care professionals.
- Prepare scientific/medical information on request.
- Review of commercial material. Ensure that content is scientifically/medically correct and in accordance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
- Assist in initiating, supervising, and following up clinical trials and driving medical projects.
- Lead evidence generation by identifying evidence gaps and initiating, driving and/or supporting clinical trials and medical projects (internal and external collaborations). e.g., Phase IV, RWE, observational and registry studies
