Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, or related field is required.
• Architectural License, or National Council Interior Design (NCIDQ) license is preferred.
Experience:
• 10 years progressive experience in planning and/or design on a full range of facility developments required.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, relationship building skills and verbal and written communication skills are required.
• 5 years progressive experience in planning and/or design in the healthcare industry with a full range of projects, from existing healthcare facilities to new large healthcare facility replacements. A strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, strong senior leadership, ability to work alone/independently and creativity is required.
Certifications:
One or more of the following certifications are preferred:
• Leadership Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP)
• Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC)
• American Institute of Architects (AIA)
• Association for the advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE)
• American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) member in good standing
Physical Requirements:
• Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
• Ability to sit and stand for periods of time and walk various locations through the health ministry.
• Must have normal or corrected vision.
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
