Technical Project Manager
As a Technical Project Manager at CBRE GWS, you will work on-site for our client AkzoNobel in Sassenheim. It is a versatile, dynamic role where you, as an all-round project manager, manage various stakeholders and are the lead for delivering technical projects.
AkzoNobel is an international company that produces various types of paint and coatings for businesses and customers. The site in Sassenheim has a production location, research and development (laboratory), and office spaces. The CBRE GWS team on-site consists of about 28 people and handles both hard and soft services and Projects.

What are you going to do?
As a Technical Project Manager, you are the lead for delivering technical projects, and you carry these out independently. You oversee and lead the projects and report to the Project / Technical Lead. You manage the execution and delivery of projects, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders and executing parties (for example, T&T mechanics or suppliers). You are successful in this when you maintain control and progress, guarantee safety during execution, and deliver projects to satisfaction.
The various investment projects that you are assigned are managed from request to delivery. In this function, you handle the request, determine the scope, keep the lead on the executing work, monitor the delivery points, and take care of the project administration. The projects we carry out are mostly technical in nature, where you can think of projects in the field of HVAC, laboratory equipment, roofing, electricity, security, etc. You are responsible for the entire project scope, and it is important that you have good communication skills so that you can switch quickly and approach stakeholders in the right way.
At the operational level, you are the central point of contact for our client and report on progress, bottlenecks, and delivered projects. This versatile role in which you are central to the T&T team and the AkzoNobel organisation.
