Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for hotel guests, colleagues, visitors, and property.
- Monitor hotel premises, including guest areas, entrances, exits, back-of-house areas, parking areas, and other designated locations.
- Conduct regular patrols and security inspections throughout the hotel.
- Monitor CCTV systems and report any suspicious or unusual activity.
- Control access to restricted and back-of-house areas in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Verify identification and authorization of colleagues, contractors, visitors, and suppliers when required.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and guest concerns.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain proper security records and logs.
- Assist in handling lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Support the hotel during emergency situations, evacuations, fire alarms, and other safety-related incidents.
- Coordinate with the Security Supervisor, Duty Manager, and relevant departments when dealing with incidents.
- Liaise with local authorities and emergency services when required and as directed by management.
- Ensure compliance with hotel security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor deliveries, service entrances, and movement of goods when required.
- Assist in maintaining discipline and enforcing hotel policies in a professional and respectful manner.
- Protect hotel assets, equipment, and facilities from theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information, hotel operations, and security matters.
- Provide professional assistance to guests and colleagues while maintaining a security-focused approach.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Security Management.
