AECOM is seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Major Infrastructure Program to join our team.
This position is based on-site in Mississauga.
We are seeking an experienced professional to support the delivery of a large, complex infrastructure program, working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, and support the successful delivery of program initiatives.
Major Responsibilities
- Apply Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) methodologies, processes and tools in conjunction with established project management standards and procedures.
- Elicit and document business requirements using appropriate methods for each engagement, including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits/observation, business process analysis and use case scenarios.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze, document and validate information needs and functional requirements.
- Develop business analysis artifacts as required, including Business Requirements Documents, Process Maps, Functional Requirements Documents, Requirements Traceability Matrices, Use Cases, UI Wireframes, Functional Specification Documents and Business Cases.
- Serve as the requirements conduit between the stakeholder community and delivery/technical teams.
- Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to established scope.
- Apply enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies.
- Successfully manage multiple simultaneous initiatives that may be at different stages of the project lifecycle.
- Challenge assumptions and work with business units to support the successful execution of their plans.
- Apply strong analytical and requirements management skills to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
