We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Accountant with French to join our international finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and supporting the financial performance of moderately complex projects.
Working under general supervision, you will oversee project-related financial activities, prepare reports and analysis, maintain accurate accounting records, and collaborate with operational teams to support informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial and accounting support for moderately complex projects.
- Monitor project financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and areas requiring attention.
- Prepare financial reports, analyses, and recommendations based on findings.
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal requirements.
- Support project forecasting, budgeting, financial reviews, and reporting activities.
- Perform financial audits and assist with resolving any identified discrepancies.
- Produce ad hoc and specialised financial reports for relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with project managers, operational teams, and other finance colleagues to ensure the accuracy and integrity of project financial information.
- Apply professional accounting principles consistently and effectively.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of more efficient ways of working.
