Inspect sanitary, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection system installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
Monitor installation works including water supply, sanitary and drainage piping, fire water piping, sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, fire pumps, and related fire protection systems.
Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure installation quality and compliance with approved design and project requirements.
Review shop drawings, material submissions, Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and relevant technical documentation.
Conduct site inspections and verify piping installation, routing, supports, equipment installation, materials, workmanship, and system interfaces.
Witness inspections and testing including pressure testing, flushing, leakage testing, functional testing, and other required system tests.
Identify and report defects, non-conformances (NCRs), and quality issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, MEP, commissioning, and other project teams to resolve technical and interface issues.
Maintain inspection records, site reports, punch lists, NCRs, and testing documentation.
Support testing and commissioning activities and monitor works through completion and handover.
Monitor site progress and escalate significant technical, quality, safety, or programme issues to the project team.
