Job Summary
Provide reliable measurement technologies and highly efficient test solutions with low cost for product performance & endurance testing of RBCD & Truck Company, through fast & qualified troubleshooting, quality verification & maintenance of test system & equipment. Implement full‑life‑cycle fixed-asset management on test benches & test equipment, covers hardware & software setup, upgrade, modification, release and scrapping. Drive efficiency improvement through automation, digitalization and AI application to achieve the test lab in benchmark operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving for test system & equipment, carry out routine maintenance and continuous quality improvement. Scope covers powertrain test benches and component function & reliability test benches.
- Manage spare parts inventory, define safety stock levels and ensure test‑equipment availability within agreed downtime limits (generally ≤0.4 hours per working day for test equipment reasons of powertrain test benches) or achieve utilization rate (generally 65% in 7 x 24 hours for component test benches if automatic runs).
- Develop working instructions, maintenance schedules and quality traceability plans. Ensure timely implementation and complete records with proper document version control.
- Execute setup, upgrade, modification, commissioning and formal release of new test benches and test methodologies.
- Drive implementation of automation, digitalization and AI concepts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing and optimize the test lab operation on time, cost and quality.
- Ensure metrological compliance by organizing periodic calibration of measuring instruments and handling non‑conformance events.
- Interface to internal lead-plant, take care key stakeholders and customers, and manage external suppliers, follow up on on‑site services and drive closure of technical issues.
- Observe lab EHS requirements, verify equipment safety interlocks and identify potential equipment‑related risks.
