Identification of the optimal design solution regarding load and load capability using virtual modelling and FEM simulations.
Understanding and application of physics of failure concepts; accompanying and supporting lifetime modelling and durability assessments.
Mastering damage mechanisms and physical cause–effect relationships of design elements and selecting suitable simulation methods and tools accordingly.
Development and optimization of simulation methods with respect to accuracy and efficiency, including the use of data analytics, data mining, and machine learning.
