💼 Role Overview
As a Project Engineer specializing in Hydraulics, you'll take ownership of end-to-end engineering projects while developing expertise in hydraulic and electro-hydraulic system design. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the complete project lifecycle—from initial customer engagement through successful commissioning—while collaborating with cross-functional teams including customers, suppliers, sales, and technical partners. 🎯 What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
Project Lifecycle Management
- Own engineering projects from order intake through final handover, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation to maintain timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor project costs, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to meet business objectives.
Technical Design & Engineering
- Design and develop innovative hydraulic and electro-hydraulic solutions leveraging Bosch Rexroth product portfolio.
- Perform system sizing, component selection, and circuit design based on customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and project documentation.
- Ensure all designs comply with customer specifications, relevant industry standards, and safety regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, sales teams, and project partners to define requirements, clarify specifications, and maintain strong working relationships.
- Provide technical support and customer training, including engineering reviews, technical presentations, and system commissioning guidance.
Testing, Commissioning & Continuous Improvement
- Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning activities, and troubleshooting to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering standardization activities to enhance processes and product quality.
