1. Purchasing and Supplier Strategy Management
Lead and manage purchasing and supplier strategy for variant part families including casting, forging, assembly parts, stamping, rubber, plastic etc. within the region of CN
- Responsible for cost structure analysis and derivation of measures to ensure material cost target realization in the material field.
- Responsible for the supplier qualification and supplier development.
- Undertaking annual price negotiation with CN suppliers.
- Supplier selection, evaluation, awarding for component development
- Document and contract management including deviation management (price, terms, etc.)
- Supplier mentorship incl. supplier capacity and performance management, managing supplier assessment and regular feedback to suppliers (DSC)
- Market survey proposal and processing
2. Team Management
- Set personal target for team members, manage and balance workload.
- check and ensure team members achieve target on time. Coach the team and daily management.
- Ensure communication and cooperation within team and with cross-functions.
