Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking an Entry-Level Project Engineer/Field Engineer to join our construction management team supporting a Land Port of Entry project in San Diego County. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in building a career in construction and project management on a major public infrastructure program.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day construction management and field activities.
- Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, maintain project calendars, meeting action items, and project documentation.
- Conduct field walks and assist with documenting construction progress and site conditions.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports, meeting minutes, photographs, and project records.
- Assist with schedule, cost, quality, safety, inspection, and contractor coordination.
- Support project closeout and turnover activities.
- Coordinate with SANDAG, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
