We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Packaging Data & Material Compliance Associate to support packaging data management, material compliance activities, and master data optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining packaging-related data accuracy, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance documentation is properly collected, analyzed, and archived.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and validate Packaging Bills of Materials (BOMs) and breakdown BOM structures from manufacturing plants.
- Research, analyze, and identify material substances in articles using available technical and regulatory information.
- Collect, review, and maintain REACH and other material compliance declarations from suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain required compliance information, supporting statements, and regulatory documentation.
- Upload compliance documentation and maintain case records in Jira and other designated systems.
- Maintain and optimize packaging master data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Correct inaccurate special dimensions for packing units within packaging BOMs using PackIT.
- Identify and correct non-plausible packaging weights and other master data inconsistencies.
- Review and update stacking factors for inbound packaging BOMs to ensure operational accuracy.
- Organize, archive, and maintain supporting documentation, including supplier communications, compliance statements, and audit evidence.
- Monitor task progress and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in regular alignment meetings and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
