The Opportunity
As a Project Controls Specialist / Project Scheduler, you'll work closely with project managers, technical teams and clients to develop and maintain programmes, monitor progress and identify risks and impacts to project delivery.
You'll help answer questions such as:
- Are we on track to deliver?
- What is driving the programme?
- Where are the key risks and dependencies?
- What has changed and what does it mean for the project?
You'll have the opportunity to work across projects ranging from shorter-term assignments through to major infrastructure programmes.
What you'll do
Project scheduling
- Develop, maintain and update project schedules and programme plans.
- Monitor progress and identify schedule risks, impacts and dependencies.
- Manage baselines and support programme change management.
- Provide schedule analysis and advice to project managers and delivery teams.
Project controls and reporting
- Support monthly project reporting and performance reviews.
- Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts.
- Undertake variance analysis and performance reporting.
- Support risk, change and Earned Value Management activities where required.
Stakeholder management
- Work closely with project managers, technical teams and clients.
- Communicate project information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Present schedule updates and performance information confidently.
- Build trusted relationships and navigate challenging project conversations.
