Project Manager-Architecture and Engineering

AECOM’s Buildings + Places practice is actively seeking a Project Manager to support active and future projects for growing practiceThis position will be located in a hybrid capacity in our San Francisco or Oakland, CA office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited:

 AECOM is seeking an ambitious individual interested in managing projects as well as supporting other Project Managers within the practice. In aiding current project manager, the goal is to learn clients with the goal to take over clients and programs in the future. This opportunity would support new and exciting small to medium sized projects or participate on a management team for larger more complex projects. The position includes working with interdisciplinary technical leads to coordinate the successful capture and execution of projects in design and construction. Responsibilities include:

• Acting as a point of contact with a client.
• Preparing scope and fee proposals for mulit-discipline projects
• Directing professional and technical staff to complete a wide variety of architectural and engineering projects.
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for execution of projects.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget while meeting client expectations with high quality.
• Developing and monitoring a detailed project plan and schedule to track progress and identify shortfalls in a timely manner.
• Managing with change management.
• Maintaining project documentation controls.
• Preparing, coordinating and facilitating project meetings. Preparing and maintaining the agenda with associated meeting minutes.
• Tracking and managing finances on projects.
• Leading and supporting projects through the full lifecycle of the project from identification to capture, execution, construction and closeout for development to Project Manager Role.
