Job Summary
Robot Operations & Reliability Engineer
- takes end-to-end responsibility for the operation management of collaborative robots — and, as the product roadmap evolves, humanoid robots — across industrial deployment scenarios,
- combines cobot system know-how with software and data capabilities to build data-driven robot operation standards, shorten downtime, and improve OEE, while driving industrial-scale deployment of proven solutions for fast replication across lines and plants.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Own operation KPIs of assigned collaborative robot cells — and, as the portfolio expands, humanoid robot deployments —cycle stability, and technical loss reduction.
- Solve practical operations-management issues across the full system-integration-to-industrialization journey: from pilot deployment, line integration, and process stabilization through to scaled rollout and cross-site replication.
- Lead structured root-cause analysis for recurring faults and long downtime events; define standard reaction playbooks and CIP with field data.
- Establish data collection and visualization for robot status, alarms, and process parameters; promote early-warning mechanisms and lay the data foundation for AI/ML-driven optimization.
- Standardize spare parts strategy, abnormal consumption tracking, and localization support for critical components, including emerging humanoid robot modules
- Coach team members on robot operation standards, troubleshooting logic, and digital tool usage; build organizational capability for the evolving collaborative and humanoid robot portfolio.
- Contribute to TPM/CIP and cross-functional initiatives such as energy efficiency, quality improvement, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with suppliers, Development, and internal teams for rapid issue closure, technical upgrades, and process change alignment; bridge the gap between product development and industrial operations.
