Ensure cost, qualification and delivery of components that meet the project design book.
Responsible for supplier selection process of new parts in New Product Development using competitive pricing analysis; also responsible for ensuring key project milestones are delivered per agreed project schedule.
Coordinating part approvals by working with design team & selected suppliers to get quality related documents such as inspection reports, test reports showing compliance to Bosch procedures
Responsible in purchasing project management of simultaneously managed multiple projects that involves diversity of different parts.
Manages the purchasing portion of budgets / tooling expenses.
Coordinates & leads technical supplier discussions with supplier & project team on plastic, machined, die cast, electrical & electronics, powder metal parts.
Effectively interacts with the global purchasing team to drive projects using Bosch purchasing procedures.
Ownership of key departmental key-user functions in one or more of the following areas: Advanced Negotiation specialist, Activities related with Supplier Contract Documentation, Specialist in areas of using Bosch Purchasing platform for requesting supplier quotes, analysis & awarding.
