Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:
- Lead strategic sourcing, evaluation, selection, and contracting for assigned categories
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the supplier base, establishing and fostering stable, mutually-trusting supplier partnerships.
- Lead supplier performance reviews and drive continuous improvement.
Cost Control & Commercial Negotiation:
- Conduct in-depth cost analysis and market research to establish competitive pricing and cost models.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations to achieve annual cost-reduction targets and ensure optimal Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Manage the procurement budget, monitor price fluctuations, and develop mitigation strategies.
New Project Support:
- Participate in new product development projects as the procurement representative, responsible for initial supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, and sourcing decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Project Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Production, and other functions to ensure project procurement activities are completed on time, to specification, and within budget.
Supply Chain Risk & Contract Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage supply chain risks (including, but not limited to, geopolitical issues, supply disruption, price volatility), developing contingency plans.
- Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, framework agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring full compliance.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies on business ethics, anti-bribery, and sustainability.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate effectively with internal functions (e.g., Planning, Logistics, Quality, Finance) to resolve issues in the procurement and supply process.
- Drive the optimization of procurement processes and systems, introducing best practices to enhance overall procurement efficiency.
