Purpose
Drive outside-in innovation by systematically connecting with high-potential startups in China’s dynamic ecosystem. Act as dedicated bridge between external startup opportunities and internal stakeholders to accelerate technology access, PoCs, and knowledge transfer in priority domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively scout, evaluate, and qualify startups in robotics/embodied AI, electrification, hydrogen/green tech, AI-IoT, ADAS, and emerging fields.
- Build & maintain a strong network with startup hubs, accelerators, VCs, and founders across Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.
- Drive end-to-end collaboration: from first contact and NDA/PoC setup to successful execution and technology/knowledge transfer into SPF roadmaps or BUs.
- Facilitate fast administrative and legal processes in close coordination with RBVC-CN and internal legal teams.
- Bridge external innovation to internal owners (SPF leads, cluster/activity owners) and translate opportunities into actionable proposals.
- Track collaboration costs, progress & impact; report regularly to OBR/BVI + RTC-AP.
- Contribute to OBR strategy and best-practice exchange with CR/BVI.
