Position Summary
The Lead Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for providing commercial, quantity surveying and cost management support across the engineering, procurement and module fabrication phases of the project.
Based within the EPC Contractor's engineering office in Yokohama, the role will support the management of project costs, contractor performance, variations, change management, payment assessments, budgets and commercial reporting. The position will work closely with the Contracts Manager, Project Controls Team, Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication stakeholders to ensure robust commercial governance and effective management of project financial exposure. This role is also requires expertise in quantity surveying principles, contract administration, valuation of work performed, change management, forecasting and commercial risk management across complex, multi-location project environments.
The Lead Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in supporting informed commercial decision-making and ensuring that project costs, commitments and contractual entitlements are accurately managed and reported throughout the project lifecycle.
