- Develop and maintain reporting tools, templates, and methodologies that provide consistent, accurate, and efficient capture of project status and performance data.
- Manage the reporting cycle, coordinating the preparation, quality assurance, review, and distribution of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc performance reports.
- Own the programme reporting calendar, ensuring all reporting requirements, milestones, submissions, and stakeholder reviews are clearly defined and delivered on time.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of the performance reporting framework, ensuring it remains aligned with programme objectives, governance requirements, and stakeholder needs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of reporting analysts and engineers, establishing a high-performance culture focused on quality, collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
- Oversee the production of programme-level dashboards, reports, and management information, translating complex data into clear and actionable performance insights for senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across programme functions, including project controls, commercial, finance, risk, planning, engineering, and delivery teams, to ensure information is integrated, consistent, and reliable.
- Establish, monitor, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide meaningful insight into programme progress, delivery performance, strategic objectives, and key milestones.
- Strengthen data quality and reporting assurance, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and emerging issues and implementing appropriate controls and corrective actions.
- Promote transparency and evidence-based decision-making, ensuring reporting provides a clear view of programme performance, trends, risks, opportunities, and areas requiring management attention.
- Champion the use of business intelligence and digital reporting solutions, identifying opportunities to automate, streamline, and enhance reporting capability.
- Ensure reporting practices comply with programme governance, quality standards, contractual and regulatory requirements, and recognised industry best practice.
- Drive continuous improvement, regularly reviewing reporting processes and stakeholder requirements to improve efficiency, usability, consistency, and the overall value of management information.
