The Cluster Housekeeping Head is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, hygiene, and operational excellence of all LUURA properties across multiple operation areas. This role leads and coordinates housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, spa facilities, and laundry services. The Cluster Head ensures consistent standards of cleanliness, efficient workflows, people’s training, and compliance with hygiene and safety regulations, while maintaining exceptional experiences for guests and employees alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and integration of housekeeping staff, ensuring compliance with LUURA standards, policies, and procedures.
- Manage housekeeping team turnover, supporting seamless transitions and maintaining operational standards, performance, and motivation throughout the season.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise on-site housekeeping supervisors and teams across rooms, public areas, spa, retail areas, and laundry.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct regular training programs on cleaning standards, hygiene protocols, guest interaction, and safety procedures.
- Ensure team compliance with company standards and foster engagement, motivation, and professional development.
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring proper shift alignment, coverage during peak hours, and on-ground supervision across all properties.
- Perform team scheduling to guarantee appropriate assignment and organization of staff for each shift.
- Supervise and ensure housekeeping teams prepare guest rooms, spa facilities, and public areas for daily operations and before each guest arrival, maintaining LUURA’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Conduct daily operational checks to confirm all housekeeping processes, equipment, and facilities are functioning correctly.
- Manage and monitor laundry operations to ensure timely, high-quality service for guest linens and staff uniforms.
- Oversee uniform operations, ensuring staff have the correct uniforms ready for every shift.
- Supervise (being hands-on) cleanliness and maintenance of public areas, spa facilities, and offices, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and spot checks of rooms, public areas, laundry, and operational areas, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues or gaps.
- Work closely with department heads (Front Office, F&B, Security, Maintenance) to understand and address operational needs while collecting feedback from guests.
- Monitor housekeeping KPIs, operational data, and incident reports to continuously improve efficiency, quality, and guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with local hygiene, safety regulations, and internal quality standards across all sites.
- Oversee budgets and manage the inventory of amenities efficiently in alignment with relevant department heads.
- Create and manage budgets for uniforms and other housekeeping-related supplies, ensuring cost-effective procurement and allocation.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management on operations, staffing, audits, training initiatives, and continuous improvement plans.
