AECOM is seeking an Architectural Engineering Intern to be based in Markham, ON. This is a new position within the Transportation group.
This internship is for the January to April 2027 term.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Civil and Municipal design for structural and transit infrastructure, highway, transit, and roadway projects including municipal roads and highways,.
- Preparation of drawings, specifications, and quantity take-off's
- Participate in design of transportation infrastructure in accordance with applicable regulations, laws, standards, etc.
- Participate in site inspections under supervision of an experienced engineer
- Participate in preparation of various engineering reports under supervision of and experienced engineer
- Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
- Utilize and maintain technical databases and file structures within project files.
- Work with tight schedules, be flexible, and contribute in a high performing design team.
