Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Within Domestic Transportation business area, we are looking to hire a highly skilled and motivated Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a solid background to join an amazing team located in Madrid.

You will be an integral part of our Ground Engineering team, working on a variety of exciting projects and collaborating with experts from around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and organize geotechnical work for team members and guide them through complex tasks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, if needed.
• Promote geotechnical investigations and assessments for diverse projects, including geotechnical characterization and analysis.
• Develop geotechnical designs (including calculations and detailed drawings) for excavations, retaining structures, earthworks, deep and shallow foundations, stability, and settlement analysis.
• Experience in soil improvement and seismic design.
• Experience in off shore geotechnical design.
• Experience in tender process from the geotechnical perspective.
• Collaborate with teams across different geographies to deliver outstanding results.
