Develop and optimize differential systems (open, limited-slip and locking differentials) for electric drive applications from concept design to series production.
Design and release differential components including housings, carriers, gears, bearings and interfaces, ensuring performance, durability, manufacturability and packaging requirements.
Perform mechanical design calculations and analyses for gears, bearings and differential systems to achieve target efficiency, reliability and NVH performance.
Define lubrication concepts, integrate differential locking mechanisms where required, and optimize interfaces with the final drive and drive shafts.
Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T, BOMs and technical documentation in accordance with product development standards.
Collaborate with simulation, testing, manufacturing, suppliers and vehicle integration teams to validate designs, resolve technical issues and support product industrialization.
Support design reviews, root cause analysis, engineering change management and continuous product improvement throughout the development lifecycle.
