We are seeking a Mid-Level Hydraulic Modeling Engineer to support the analysis, design, and evaluation of hydraulic systems related to water resources, stormwater, flood risk, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has solid technical experience, can work independently on defined tasks, and collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Build hydraulic models and perform verification of sewer networks; run integrated model development, optioneering, support with the scoping and planning of projects including flow survey verification.
Responsibilities:
· Scope hydraulic solutions to address network constraints to facilitate growth from single and multiple developments. Review solutions against long-term plans to ensure strategic alignment.
· Perform hydraulic and hydrologic calculations.
· Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate modeling findings effectively using strong communication skills.
· Assist with data collection, QA/QC of model inputs and outputs, and calibration/validation.
· Coordinate with engineers, planners, GIS specialists, and project managers.
· Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, best practices and client specifications.
· Contribute to innovation, process improvement, and technical excellence within the team.
· Mentor junior staff on modeling tasks as needed.
· Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and collaboration.
· Work autonomously within agreed budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
