Job Purpose
Develop, integrate and monitor the project schedule for transmission line, substation and HVDC packages and provide early warning of schedule deviations, resource constraints and milestone risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the contractor's work breakdown structure and Level 1 to Level 4 schedules.
- Develop and maintain the integrated master schedule covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Validate activity logic, durations, calendars, constraints, milestones and resource loading.
- Establish progress measurement methodology aligned with BOQ, Schedule of Values and contractual milestones.
- Prepare planned versus actual S-curves, resource histograms, look-ahead schedules and milestone trackers.
- Monitor critical and near-critical activities and identify emerging schedule risks.
- Review weekly, monthly and three-month look-ahead schedules submitted by contractors.
- Verify reported physical progress through site records and coordination with field teams.
- Analyse schedule slippage and recommend corrective, recovery and acceleration measures.
- Support evaluation of extension-of-time claims through delay-event chronology and schedule-impact analysis.
- Track engineering submissions, approvals, manufacturing, dispatch, site receipt and installation of long-lead equipment.
- Integrate transmission line section schedules with substation, bay, control, telecom and energization interfaces.
- Maintain schedule-related assumptions, constraints, risk items and delay registers.
- Prepare management dashboards and schedule narratives for periodic progress reports.
- Support invoice certification by verifying achievement of schedule-linked milestones.
