System engineer, Customer technical interface for HPU/FTU acquisition & Lead design
Responsibility
Act as customer technical interface, responsible for HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit) and FTU (Fluid Thermal Unit) projects acquisition, incl. Requirements clarification, technical solution proposal, supporting sales team quotation and afterwards project execution
Collaborate/Steering with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal management solutions into customer projects
Lead/Responsible for the conceptual design of HPU and FTU including requirements breakdown and component matching etc. Assign detailed design tasks to CAD engineer and review final deliverables
Reviewing product 3D models, 2D drawings, DVP (Design Verification Plan) reports, DFMEA documents, and other relevant engineering deliverables.
Supporting to resolve manufacturing and assembly process challenges.
Role Context
Onsite at UAES as part of a joint development team (Bosch & UAES), focusing on thermal management modules.
Customer Application: The team collaboratively develops a base design and directly applies it within customer projects.
Global Responsibility: Following an initial onboarding and development phase, the expert assumes full ownership of their technical domain and supports an international team in deploying solutions across global regions.
