- Lead the design and development of public health systems (water supply, drainage, sanitation, gas) and fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, suppression systems) for building projects.
- Oversee and review engineering drawings, calculations, and technical specifications for public health and fire protection systems.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and quality control across multiple projects. Guiding and mentoring engineers is a key part of the role.
- Conduct site inspections, supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of public health and fire protection systems.
- Ensure all designs and installations comply with UAE building codes, Civil Defense and other authority requirements, and international standards (NFPA, BS, IPC, etc.).
- Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients to integrate public health and fire protection solutions into overall project designs.
- Advise on sustainable and innovative technologies for water conservation, waste management, and fire safety.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues during construction and post-occupancy phases.
- Participate in tendering, contract negotiations, and technical presentations.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in public health and fire protection engineering.
