What you'll do...
- Lead the pre-opening planning and execution phase, in collaboration with the corporate team, including the development of the Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan, and Capital Budget, ensuring full alignment with brand and ownership expectations.
- Fully own the commercial performance of the property, including P&L, revenue generation, budgeting, forecasting, and delivery of net operating income targets.
- Establish, monitor, and manage annual budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with financial goals, while maintaining control of labor and expense guidelines to optimize profitability.
- Develop and execute strategic action plans to achieve or exceed revenue and profitability targets across all restaurant and bar outlets, ensuring strong commercial performance.
- Play a key role in hiring decisions, ensuring the attraction, selection, training, and development of top talent, while building strong succession pipelines and team capability.
- Establish priorities and lead key operational initiatives such as the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget.
- Execute the highest brand standards across all operations, ensuring consistent quality of service, product excellence, and adherence to SOPs, including health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide hands-on leadership to all Heads of Department, fostering a high-performance culture, strong team engagement, and consistent people management practices.
- Foster strong collaboration with corporate and brand teams to ensure alignment on standards, strategy, and operational execution.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across all operations to enhance efficiency, guest experience, and overall performance.
- Oversee all quality evaluation processes and strive to improve all qualitative metrics.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations, including liquor licensing, health, and sanitation standards.
- Build and maintain a strong local presence for the property, strengthening community relationships and positioning the restaurant/hotel within the destination.
- Oversee reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate submission of payroll, revenue reports, schedules, forecasts, and operational action plans.
- Serve as the central communication hub between guests, team members, ownership, brand representatives, and key external partners.
- Be front-facing and high-touch with our guests, involved in handling guests throughout their journey and setting the example for the team to engage in excellent guest experience and recovery at every turn.
