Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Cost Manager to support the delivery of high-rise mixed-use residential projects in Vietnam.
This role will focus on managing project costs across residential towers, retail podiums, and shared facilities, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, on schedule, and to required quality standards.
You will work closely with local developers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers, providing practical cost advice across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Planning & Budget Management
- Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, and budgets for high-rise residential and mixed-use developments.
- Provide cost advice on structure, façade, finishing works, and building systems.
- Monitor and track project costs against approved budgets.
Procurement & Tendering
- Assist in preparing tender documentation for key trade packages:
- Structural works
- Façade and architectural finishes
- External works and infrastructure
- Support tender processes including quotation comparison and basic cost evaluation.
- Liaise with local contractors and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing.
Post-Contract Cost Management
- Assist in managing variations, change orders, and cost adjustments.
- Support review of contractor claims and progress payments.
- Maintain up-to-date cost records and documentation.
Cost Reporting & Financial Tracking
- Prepare monthly cost reports and cost updates.
- Track project cash flow and construction progress against budget.
- Highlight any cost issues or risks to the project team.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with site teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Attend project meetings and support coordination across teams.
- Assist in resolving cost-related issues on site.
Value Engineering & Risk Support
- Support value engineering exercises to improve cost efficiency.
- Identify potential cost risks and assist in suggesting practical solutions.
