We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join our Variable Team in Belgium. This role will support a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate projects across multiple client accounts, providing flexible cost management and quantity surveying expertise wherever required.
Working within a dynamic client-facing environment, you will collaborate with internal project management teams, external consultants, contractors, and occupier or investor clients across a broad range of sectors including office, industrial, logistics, labs, and mixed-use developments.

Fluent English required; Dutch and/or French would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full pre- and post-contract cost management services across commercial real estate projects.
- Prepare cost plans, budgets, estimates, and feasibility studies at various project stages.
- Support procurement activities including tender documentation, bid analysis, and contractor recommendations.
- Manage valuations, variations, change control, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and provide accurate financial reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with project managers and client teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
- Support multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously as part of the Variable Team structure.
- Review contracts and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Assist in benchmarking, market analysis, and value engineering exercises.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with T&T standards, governance, and health & safety requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management, or related discipline.
- Experience within quantity surveying or cost management, ideally in commercial real estate, fit-out, or construction consultancy environments.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability.
- Ability to work across varied projects and adapt quickly to different client requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience preparing cost reports and managing project financials.
- Knowledge of Belgian construction market practices is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost management software/tools.
- Fluent English required; Dutch and/or French would be beneficial.
