We are seeking a BS&P Project Engineer to support our projects across Water, Wastewater, Waste, and Waste-to-Energy sectors, while leading corporate digitalization and decarbonization initiatives across the BU, Zone, and Group levels.
The BS&P Project Engineer acts as the technical and digital catalyst for Veolia Taiwan’s multi-sector portfolio (Water, Wastewater, Waste-to-Energy, and Chemical Recycling), collaborating directly with regional experts, joint venture boards, and global corporate teams.
【Key Responsibilities】
Digitalization, AI & Decarbonization Roadmap
Lead AI & Innovation: Serve as the Project Manager for Veolia’s AI initiatives (e.g., Talk To My Plant deployment), developing new digital agents and leading BS&P Digital team.
Deploy Digital Infrastructure: Drive the roll-out of the Veolia Taiwan Digital Roadmap across 7+ Energy-from-Waste (EfW) plants,
Digital Road Map: Develop of new digital road map for Chemical Recycling facilities and Water & Wastewater facilities.
Digital & AI Maintenance: Optimize current AI infrastructure, managing troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, and feature upgrades. Integrate new digital modules including Thermoflow, VAMS, and Eneffco Smart Optimizer.
Data Analytics & Reporting: Lead the development of performance dashboards and tracking systems to ensure real-time visibility into digital and operational KPIs.
Operational Performance & Asset Optimization
KPI Management: Own the automated reporting and tracking of performance KPIs for all WtE Plants, and Hazardous Waste facilities.
Asset & Profitability Analysis: Launch maintenance Capex reviews across 7 WtE and 2 Hazardous Waste plants; conduct detailed financial/operational profitability assessments for JV activities (PCT, Distillation, Incineration).
Post-Project Evaluation: Edit closing reports at the end of BOT/ROT projects to track realized benefits and financial ROI.
Engineering & Technical Project Support
Water & Wastewater Design: Review Water & Mass Balance (W&MB) diagrams and PFDs in collaboration with Veolia Asia water experts using design simulation tools (e.g., Centaurus).
Tender & Investment Support: Author compelling Technical/Commercial Memorandums for new project submissions to the Veolia Engagement Committee.
Variance Management: Monitor project schedules and design validations; proactively call for alignment meetings when deviations from the Investment Committee (IC) targets are anticipated.
Risk, Safety & Compliance Audits
HSE Implementation: Drive the execution of the Fire Protection plan across all incinerators and facilities.
Hazard Management: Oversee HAZOP plans for Chemical Recycling plants (e.g., Sulfuric Acid Recycling facilities), coordinating audits with international Veolia experts from Asia and North America, ensure implementation of the CAPEX investment plan.
