Responsible for the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts within the project and work packages
Adherence to project control standards across the project
Production and control of budgets / forecasts and expenditure profiles for all work within the project, utilising approved work breakdown and cost breakdown structures
Analysis of earned value and adverse trends
Co-ordination and production of cost reports and updated budgets to a defined reporting cycle
Analysis of change within construction and the provision of feedback on areas of risk and opportunities
Analysis and integration of cost estimates and forecasts provided by contractors and suppliers
Providing process and technical support to assist in the management of the full project budget and scope
Cost and resource estimates to support the budget
Detailed change control to manage the above
Project and work package cost reports
Close working with the construction department to monitor site costs
Close working with the scheduling team to support earned value analysis
Assisting on feasibility studies and writing cost reports.
Assisting with Estimating and cost planning including producing and presenting the final cost plan
Assisting with Tendering and procurement, including helping with the pre-qualification stage, assisting in the preparation of pre tender estimates, the tender analysis, tender reports and the compilation of contractual documents.
Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes
Follow project governance processes and systems that are utilised throughout the project
Work effectively as part of a cost management team, to ensure that all deliverables are met.
