What will I be doing?
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and ensuring the vehicle is maintained to a high standard.
- Maintain the vehicles equipment to a high standard and fit for purpose.
- Undertaking UK wide chemical deliveries (to include occasional over-night stays and weekend working) in a safe, efficient and precise manner.
- Collecting and removing empty IBCs and kegs from customer sites.
- Ensuring All loads are secured correctly and checked against documents in line with regulations prior to transit.
- Managing all transport related documentation to include MSDS and transport documents.
- Handling safe pump-overs of chemicals from IBCs to customer tanks.
- Liaising with customers and site contacts to ensure correct delivery methods.
- Completing day to day vehicle and equipment checks to include routine maintenance.
- Maintaining a high level of driving competence at all times and adhering to relevant legislation and regulations.
- Working to precise method statements and risk assessments.
- Takes all reasonable steps to ensure their own safety and that of others. Complies with all current legislation and any prevailing site rules. Reports any accidents, incidents or near misses in accordance with Company or client policies.
