VERSANT’s Advertising & Partnerships team is seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Director to join our high-performing sales organization. This seasoned seller will play a critical leadership role in driving revenue growth across VERSANT’s premium portfolio of CTV/AVOD, digital, social, and experiential assets.
The Senior Director will be responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue targets by cultivating senior-level relationships with key clients and agencies, driving new business development, and delivering innovative, cross-platform solutions that unlock the full value of the VERSANT ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive significant advertising revenue across VERSANT’s portfolio, including CTV/AVOD, digital, social, sponsorship, and custom integrations
- Meet or exceed annual revenue targets through strategic account management and aggressive new business development
- Own and manage relationships with senior-level decision-makers at major agencies and client organizations
- Identify and develop strategies to penetrate key accounts and high-growth categories
- Lead complex negotiations and close high-value, multi-platform deals
- Develop customized, insight-driven marketing solutions that align with client business objectives
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, research, strategy, planning, and ad operations teams to respond to RFPs, develop proposals, and execute programs flawlessly
- Clearly communicate expectations internally and externally while managing multiple high-priority accounts
- Leverage audience targeting, data capabilities, and performance measurement tools to articulate the value of VERSANT’s advertising offerings across CTV, streaming, digital, and social platforms
- Serve as a thought leader within the marketplace, representing VERSANT with credibility and executive presence
- Mentor junior sellers and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance sales culture
Basic Requirements
- 10+ years of media sales experience, including CTV/AVOD, digital video, social, sponsorships, and custom partnerships
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and closing large, complex deals
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, generating leads, and converting new business opportunities
- Strong experience building and maintaining senior-level client and agency relationships
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
