Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Estimation & Budgeting
Lead the preparation of high-value BOQs and comprehensive project budgets for complex Civil and Interior projects.
Develop and maintain a Standard Schedule of Rates (SOR) based on market intelligence to streamline future bidding.
Conduct "Value Engineering" exercises to suggest cost-effective alternatives without compromising design intent.
2. Financial Governance & Billing Oversight
Oversee the entire Invoicing Lifecycle: Client Billing (Revenue) and Vendor/Sub-contractor Billing (Cost).
Certify complex Milestone Payments and Final Accounts for major vendors, ensuring zero leakage.
Implement rigorous Reconciliation Protocols for high-cost materials (e.g., steel, cement, premium veneers, specialized glazing).
3. Contract Administration & Dispute Resolution
Interpret complex contract clauses to manage Change Orders and Extra Item Claims effectively.
Lead negotiations with contractors regarding disputed measurements or rates.
Ensure all statutory compliances (GST, Labor Cess, Insurance, etc.) are integrated into the billing process.
4. Reporting & Cost Management
Present monthly Project Financial Health Reports to senior management, highlighting Gross Margin trends.
Conduct Variance Analysis (Budgeted vs. Actual) and implement corrective actions for projects exceeding cost limits.
Forecast cash flow requirements to ensure smooth project funding.
