The Contract Manager is responsible for managing all contractual, commercial, and procurement-related matters for large-scale industrial projects, ensuring that projects are delivered in compliance with contractual requirements, within budget, and with controlled risk exposure.
The role provides commercial leadership and contractual assurance, supporting project delivery teams while protecting the company’s financial and contractual interests and maintaining strong client relationships.
The Contract Manager will play a critical role in commercial governance, risk management, and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead administration and management of client and subcontractor contracts from pre-award through project close-out.
- Monitor project cost performance, variations, claims, and payment certifications to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Identify contractual risks early, manage claims, extensions of time (EOT), variations, and dispute avoidance/resolution.
- Support procurement strategy, tender evaluations, contract negotiations, and subcontractor appointment.
- Interface with client commercial teams, legal advisors, consultants, and internal project stakeholders.
- Provide regular commercial and contractual reporting to senior management and project directors.
