The HR Business Partner for the Infrastructure team in Ireland is a strategic partner to the leadership team, driving initiatives aligned to the Europe and Country HR strategies as well as the local businesses long-term business objectives.
The HR Business Partner will be a key advisor in building organizational capability, developing future leaders, and ensuring the company’s HR practices support sustainable growth across the Infrastructure sector.
This role requires an individual who is able to assure compliance with employment law, while creating a positive and high performance-driven culture.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced and complex environment, can navigate complex employment challenges, and be the trusted adviser to the leadership team.
Responsibilities:
Act as trusted partner of the senior leadership team to understand business objectives, growth plans, anticipate workforce needs and identify critical talent gaps.
Act as the subject matter expert and proactively manage all employee relations issues and HR related risk mitigation.
Work closely with the leadership team and implement succession strategies for key roles that align with long-term growth plans.
Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational development, change management, and leadership alignment.
Drive leadership development initiatives to strengthen the pipeline of future leaders.
Drive management development initiatives to strengthen the calibre of managers within the business.
Be proficient in the use of HR Management Information and enable the business to use HRMI to make informed, data-led decisions on key investment and development opportunities and drive performance outcomes.
Work with Talent Acquisition to launch and support Early Career programmes such as apprenticeships, Summer Placements and Graduate schemes.
Work with Global Mobility and local team to ensure the visa/sponsorship process is seamlessly managed for employees and clients.
Adapt the Europe HR strategy to local country needs, legal requirements, goals; implement it and track key performance indicators which align with organization goals and initiatives.
Implement a culture of continuous improvement, resulting in identification of opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in coordination with Europe HR.
Attend management meetings to represent the HR function, presenting HR-related data, engaging in discussions, and understanding strategic implications of HR policies and practices. Present required information for your requests and proposals, allowing the Leadership team to make informed decisions.
Drive global initiatives for performance management, salary and promotions review and others.
Ensure 100% data accuracy for all HR-systems.
Promote successful and timely implementation of the new HRIS.
Remain up to date on wider industry and HR best practice ensuring that Turner and Townsend are able to attract and retain the best talent.
Support the annual Infrastructure conference, ensuring HR related information is prepared and shared with wider business.
