The Construction Planner and Scheduler will lead the development and maintenance of the project master schedule, with a primary focus on Microsoft Project for planning and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely updates across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Prepare and maintain the Basis of Schedule for hotel development projects.
- Establish and manage the master schedule, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverables.
- Apply resource loading to optimize staffing and crew allocation.
- Track progress and performance using Earned Value KPIs, S-curves, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate schedule updates with general contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Facilitate interactive planning sessions with discipline leads, vendors, and client teams.
- Identify and monitor the project’s critical path, reporting deviations and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Incorporate scope changes and trends into the schedule, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Provide weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reporting on plan vs. actual performance, including forecast adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with owner policies, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
