United Infrastructure is delivering critical trenchless crossings across the Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture & Storage (LBACCS) onshore pipeline route. This role supports the safe, timely and compliant delivery of a complex programme of microtunnelling, HDD and auger‑bore works forming essential elements of the CO₂ pipeline construction.
Key responsibilities
Project coordination
- Assist in the development of delivery plans, programme look‑aheads and daily/weekly coordination for trenchless crossings.
- Track progress, inputs, constraints and report status updates to the Project Manager.
- Support preparation of meeting packs, progress slides, risk logs and actions.
- Coordinate information flow between designers, subcontractors and site teams (e.g., alignment drawings, temporary works, CEMP/permit requirements).
- Ensure latest drawings, RAMS and approvals are issued, understood and used on site.
Safety, RAMS & compliance
- Support preparation, review and communication of RAMS, permits and safe‑system‑of‑work documentation.
- Help maintain SHEQ records, track close‑outs, and ensure briefings are completed.
- Monitor site compliance and raise issues proactively to the Project Manager.
- Assist in collecting project documentation: ITPs, check sheets, daily records, NCR close‑outs and redline updates.
- Maintain document control discipline for trenchless packages.
Stakeholder & third‑party coordination
- Support engagement with asset owners (e.g., highways, utilities, Network Rail) for permits, inspections, or method approvals.
- Liaise with land access teams, environmental advisors and the pipeline construction team to coordinate site readiness.
Commercial & subcontractor support
- Track subcontractor progress, measure works completed and support valuation inputs.
- Assist in reviewing subcontract deliverables, resource plans and variations/early warnings.
- Help plan shaft access, compound interfaces, deliveries, temporary works sequencing and readiness inspections.
