Act as the Finance Business Partner for the programme/BU, leading on all financial matters
Partner with SMT to support delivery and challenge financial performance
Analyse performance and deliver clear reporting on budgets, variances, risks, and opportunities
Ensure timely, high-quality financial reporting, including for major grants
Provide insightful financial advice to drive performance and outcomes
Lead and develop staff, including resourcing, performance management, and capability building
Coach project teams on financial processes (forecasting, controls, procurement, timesheets)
Ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition in line with policy and IFRS15, and manage aged debt
Support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Build strong relationships with PMs and stakeholders to develop robust budgets and forecasts
Maintain a strong financial control environment, including balance sheet integrity and audit readiness
Act as key contact for audits and ensure timely closure of actions
Support finance initiatives, process improvements, and team capability development
