Design solutions that matter!
Join us in building digital tools that help banks prevent financial crime. You will design intuitive, reliable solutions for AML, fraud detection and regulatory compliance — a complex and impactful domain where usability and trust are essential.
About the role
As a Senior UX Designer, you will work in cross‑functional teams with developers, PMs and domain experts. You’ll contribute across discovery, interaction design, prototyping, validation and continuous improvement.
You’ll be part of a dedicated UX team (UX Lead + two designers) and a wider Tieto design community.
What you will do
- Design complex, business‑critical workflows
- Lead discovery, problem framing and user needs definition
- Create interaction design, flows, wireframes and prototypes
- Participate in research, workshops and usability testing
- Turn insights into clear, scalable user experiences
- Work with and contribute to design systems
- Use rapid and AI‑supported prototyping tools
- Communicate and justify design decisions to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years of UX design experience for digital products
- Strong interaction and user‑centered design skills
- Solid Figma experience
- Experience across discovery → concept → detailed design → validation
- Ability to own a product area or feature set
- Experience with design systems and complex solutions
- Skilled at planning and estimating design efforts
- Interest in vibe coding — using AI tools for early exploration and rapidly refining outputs into high‑quality UX
- Experience with AI‑supported prototyping tools (e.g., Figma Make, Lovable)
- Fluent English
- Experience in regulated domains (finance, banking) is a plus
How we assess
We focus on how you think and work — not just polished visuals.
We’re interested in your responsibility level, decision-making, handling of constraints, use of research, and how you combine design systems, prototyping and (when relevant) AI tools.
What we offer
- Meaningful work in financial crime prevention
- Leadership that values UX
- Strategic + hands‑on responsibilities
- Professional growth and learning opportunities
- Supportive international team
- Full work equipment (laptop, phone, subscription)
- Modern Riga office with smart building systems, excellent air quality, green terrace, EV chargers and bike storage
How to apply
Submit your CV or LinkedIn profile.
You may share a portfolio or short written descriptions of relevant projects — clarity of thinking matters more than perfect visuals.
