Establish clear ownership, stewardship, and accountability for data across business and tech teams.
Own and maintain core governance tools like the data catalog, lineage, business glossary, and data quality frameworks.
Lead engaging data governance training sessions so everyone understands why good data matters.
Facilitate governance forums and working groups to tackle data quality issues and drive improvements.
Lead initiatives like data quality management, metadata management, and data catalog adoption.
Implement and enforce data governance policies across the full data lifecycle.
Work with cross-functional teams to define data roles, responsibilities, and governance practices.
Collaborate with the Head of Data to execute the data governance roadmap.
Guide and develop the team, ensuring strong collaboration and steady progress toward our data championship goals
