As a digital transformation company, Sopra Steria’s digital assets are vital; and it’s our security experts that keep them safe. To do so, you’ll use firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems while staying informed of the latest security trends, technologies and legislation so you can comply with industry standards. You’ll work across departments, so communication, collaboration, attention to detail and analysis are essential skills. You’ll implement security protocols, conduct regular audits and develop and enforce security policies. You’ll bring your skills in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response to bear across our solutions and frameworks. You’ll also play a role in educating staff and raising awareness of potential threats to build holistic, end-to-end security.
The Cybersecurity Architect responsibilities:
- Secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; Ensuring that the Architecture (and possibly architectural patterns) defined by the IT Architect are aligned with the Business and technical Risk Appetite and objectives of the customer and the applicable policies communicated by the CISO
- Advises the CISO and Enterprise Security Architect around strategic and tactical security evolution plan for the digital assets and digital practices in modern environments (Hybrid Cloud, on premises,…)
- Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural security questions for less experienced team members; mentoring team members
- Helps defining the strategic security roadmaps of customers
- Defines and Reviews architecture and design security features and assess their business and technical security risks
- Participate to security risks assessments (e.g: ITSRM2), provides specialized security architecture guidance and propose risk mitigation plan to the risks assessor during its risk assessment (participate to workshops organized by the risk assessor, …)
- Lead the implementation of technological security capabilities by defining the technological security vision, defining the solutions and drive the development and delivery teams in realizing these architectures
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
